This weekend retreat will be infused with relaxation, reflection and mindfulness. It will provide a stillpoint in a turning or tumultuous world and giving you an opportunity to transforming tragedy into triumph. As Gandhi once said, “An eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind.”
The definition of still point is “A state following surrender that resets internal rhythms to natural, universal rhythms, allowing for an infusion of grace.” Grace when experienced in the heart is about being one with unconditional love. Therefore, as we move into still point, we will experience surrender with our memories and emotions, unconditional love in our hearts, and grace in who we are becoming. In so doing, we are able to transform challenges and tragedy into triumph.
WHY Stop, Look and Listen?
Learning and neuroplasticity took centre stage when collaborative research was conducted with lamas (Buddhist equivalent for priests or spiritual leaders). It seems that, as a result of ongoing meditation through a technique called Mindfulness, the lamas were ‘more able’ to attain emotional balance and to concentrate or move into a ‘stillpoint’.
What you will learn?
You will learn to engage in reflective awareness and how to approach the here and now with curiosity, openness, acceptance and love.
